This 3-day, fast-paced, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to plan, design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot a Windows 2008 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment. A mixture of lecture and a focus on 'hands-on' labs (instructor-led and self-paced) are used to enforce and reinforce needed skills to manage and troubleshoot a Public Key Infrastructure.
Businesses are requiring PKI Certificate Authority (CA) for many technologies and products to include Encrypted File System (EFS), secure email, digital signing of documents, software packages, and drivers; user, service, and computer authentication; securing communication such as SSL, IPSEC, and 802.1x wired and wireless; Office Communication Server (OCS); System Center products, Network Access Protection (NAP); Terminal Services; SharePoint Server; Rights Management Services (RMS); BitLocker; SQL; and many more.

· Implement Role Separation
· Plan and Implement Disaster Recovery
Audience:
This bootcamp course is intended for individuals from any size business that needs to have an in-depth knowledge and skills to implement and manage a PKI environment.
Prerequisites:
Before attending this course, students must have:
· A+ certification or equivalent knowledge
· Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge.
· Have one of the following certifications or equivalent experience:
o MCSA 2003
o MCSE 2003
o MCTS: AD (Windows 2008)
o MCITP: Server (Windows 2008)
o MCITP: Enterprise Server (Windows 2008)
OR
· Completed the following courses or equivalent experience:
o Windows 2003: 2273 and 2279 AND 6 months or more experience managing Windows 2008 servers
o Windows 2008: 6416 or 6425 and 6426
