Access Programming with VBA

Duration:

3 Days

Course Overview:

Does your database have code behind it? Has the person maintaining that code moved on to a new position, and now you have 'inherited' code that you don't understand? While your job description may not be 'programmer', you may still have programming duties. Or, are you just looking to extend or automate processes that Access cannot do out-of-the-box? If so, this course will provide basic skills necessary to create, modify, and edit code. Learn to work with macros, modules, drop down lists, custom functions, and recordsets and be able to troubleshoot existing code.

Audience:

This class is for business workers or IT professionals looking to automate repetitive processes, create custom user interfaces, overcome limitations with Access macros, and create sophisticated polished databases that multiple users will have interaction with. This class is also for those who would like an introduction to basic programming skills.

This course is suited for those using Microsoft Access 2007 and 2010. This course will be taught using Microsoft Access 2010.

Prerequisites:

Access Levels 1, 2, 3. Some programming experience is helpful, but not required.
